Whole place is amazing with super thoughtful touches. Staff were lovely, food was good, room beautiful and everything smelled fantastic. Loved the chocolate tasting and little perfume gift. We ended up buying more perfume and the breakfast spread was delicious.
Hotel was clean and had a great view of lake. It is walking distance to the Maya ruins. That allows you to get into park at 8 am before all of the other tourist do. Nice having the park to ourselves for a couple of hours
Staying at this place was amazing. Its location right next to the jungle really gave it an authentic jungle feel. The building's design and amenities were great. Yes, we did miss the air conditioning a little, but they really made up for it with plenty of fans while still preserving the jungle atmosphere.
The combination of the friendly and helpful staff, the location, and the unique jungle experience made it well worth the stay. We would definitely come back if we get the chance.
My husband, my son, and I spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed our stay! We were able to rent bikes and go into the village. The owner and his wife are very kind. I highly recommend!
