Fukuyama city is a hidden jewel. Most of the bullet trains stop here and the access to major places, including Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Yokohama, Tokyo, and Fukuoka is a direct line. If you want to visit Tomonoura where major movies scenes were taken, including Studio Ghibli and The Wolverine, I highly recommend Fukuyama.
This was a very nice, straightforward hotel with everything we needed. The room was spacious, and the large bathroom was well designed. Breakfast was merely passable, but reasonable for the price.
The automated check-in and checkout did not work for us, even with staff assistance, though the system may work better for regular guests.
The hotel’s greatest advantages are its spectacular view of the castle and its proximity to the train station. It is extremely convenient, although guests who are...
The room was clean and organized.
Near to the place I wanted to go. I asked question always got response quick.
It was a pleasant stay. I would like to come back 100 %!!
Very trendy and modern. I especially liked the traditional robes and belts, the Edison bulbs and writing on the mirrors. I enjoyed my stay and would return
The award-winning vegan restaurant (with some non-vegan items also offered) is some of the best, reason alone to consider the stay. Proximity to the station with city and park views available is another for those travelling by JR or highway bus. The staff were excellent, the rooms and amenities are fine. Thanks for a wonderful business-class stay.
Beautiful location and view was incredible! Onsen are clean and lots of amenities. Meals included with the stay (12 course kaiseki dinner and breakfast buffet) were soooo delicious. Staff was very helpful including bringing an early shuttle bus in for just the two of us so we would be on time for our Shinkansen!
Many Japanese travelers and very few foreigners so not a lot of staff speak English but they were very helpful and accommodating. It was much more of a more Japanese vibe versus the...
Solo traveler, hotel is well situated to Kurashiki Station, & tucked in a small quiet side street. The staff was warm & welcoming, & helped me forward my luggage on my last day. I stayed in a large, beautifully kept Japanese-style room, & amenities were plentiful. It was quiet & very comfortable, & I would definitely book again when back to visit the area!
We absolutely loved this place. It was by far our favorite stay during our 10 days in Japan. Definitely recommend spending extra on the dinner, it was amazing.
