I had not been back to this lovely spot for almost a decade. The staff is wonderful, the restaurant is outstanding and there are a variety of rooms to fit families, couples or groups. If you are going to be in Zagreb for a few days, take the 30 minute drive and unwind with the vineyard all around you.
This hotel was an amazing find. Not necessarily centrally located but was everything we needed for our 2 nights in Zagreb. Ubers were always available as this hotel is on the west side of town and about a 15 minute Uber ride from wherever we went. The hotel itself is new and very nice. The Esplanade is a lovely hotel with marvelous food and a great staff who go out of their way to make your stay as personally pleasing as possible. It is on the higher end, but well worth the treat. Close walk to the main arteries and tons of great restaurants. Do love the no smoking as many other bars serving food allow it…so be prepared during the colder months.
