"The room, hallway or whole building had mold in it somewhere. My wife and I have sensitive allergies to it and were sniffling and coughing the entire time we were there. Once we left the property, it stopped. The sink in the room was backed up, the curtain wasn’t long enough so a lot of light would leak in when they were closed, and the door wouldn’t always open with the key. It would flash green, then get stuck when the handle was turned down. We also requested a fist floor room weeks in advance, but that couldn’t be accommodated even though the hotel didn’t look nearly ‘full’. "

"The beach was beautiful. The rooms were very clean and up to date. We were told the pool was closed and we could go to the hotel next door. So we did not cancel cause we were looking forward to the “full ocean view balcony”. What we did not realize was that the pool was not only closed but under construction and were working on the pool area below our room. It was too noisy to sit out on the balcony - only very early in the morning and early evening after the workers left.. Also having beach chairs and umbrella stored on the balcony and having us (in our mid 70’s) carry them down to the beach which was quite a distance away. Also there was a limited amount of pool passes to go next door. Solution would be to store the beach chairs and umbrellas down by the beach creating a shorter distance to carry them while on the beach. Michael, a valet, helped us get all our luggage into our room, helped us every night we went out and helped us again with all our luggage when we checked out. He was wonderful. So polite, so patient with all our questions and so respectful. He made our stay so much more enjoyable - it was a special vacation - our 50th anniversary "
