Pier Blue Inn was close to funeral home, Catholic Church, and repast. Nice restaurants so close by! I’m glad I booked this place. Added a second night to avoid Friday night traffic back to our house in Rockland County NY."

"For an inexpensive place, it was fine. Bare bones but clean. Shower was unexpectedly good. Ample parking. Area was quiet and safe. Good place to stop for the night."

"Its alright. But had to let them know the exit door was not properly locking. Anyone could get in. The smoke detector fell off from the ceiling. There was burn marks on the covers I didnt sleep under the covers felt like it had dirt in it or sand. But when I addressed the issues the staff took care of it ."

"I had a great stay and would give this hotel 5 stars. Everything was clean from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff was professional and check-in was easy. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was hot and good with enough options. The hotel also had a bar, gym, and pool, which I didn’t use but it was nice to have those amenities available. The outside of the hotel was also well maintained. "In for a quick one night stay, flexibility on early check in was great. Very close to I-95 so some background traffic noise. Our room was carpeted, but new LVP is going in thru out. Great value and Main St Old Saybrook has nice shops and restaurants. Would recommend Mirsina's for breakfast if looking for more than continental."
