The beach is gorgeous and spans over 2 miles, the trolley allows for transportation throughout the resort and renting a golf cart allowed for us to cruise through town! We will definitely be back!"

The cottage was clean and updated with everything you need, toiletries, kitchen pans and utensils, a full beach cart with everything needed for the beach. I took a few naps in the sun in the hammock. The location is great, an easy block to the beach. The only thing we had difficulty with was the gas grill did not heat up sufficiently to cook burgers. It was an incredible relaxing place for a family vacation, highly recommend it

We were here for a long weekend and had a great time in Island Sunset. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from a beach that's mostly used by Sanibel residents so it wasn't very crowded. Loved being on the "quiet" end of the island and Dawn the innkeeper was so kind and helpful, she really made us feel welcome. We can't wait to come back!
Nice property - we had a corner unit with a king bed and fold out queen bed. Nice spacious room. Close to the tiki island bar and beach walkway. The little bar had great food and drinks.

My friend and I booked Kona Kai for a sort of last minute mini girls vacation! We loved the room it was clean and spacious. Some minor toilet issues the first day but the staff's response was prompt and everyone was always friendly and approachable. A bunch of the tv channels didn't come in well but we weren't there to watch tv anyways! Everything was perfect! I stayed in the Palm Cottage and it is one of the nicest places I've stayed. The manager was very kind and accommodating, the place is spotless, the pool is super clean....It's just the perfect place for a couple's getaway. I will definitely return.
Our first visit to 'the Tween' -- and we'll definitely be coming back! This place has everything: beach, pool, two restaurants (one fancy and one 'pubby'), boat rentals, kayaks, small cottages and moderately priced rooms -- either ocean or bay views! Very satisfied (would get a 5 stars on room comfort if the pillows were better, but next time will bring our own).
My boyfriend & I stayed for 8 days & 7 nights....The hotel was very nice & the beach was amazing and only steps away from the hotel center. We loved using the kayaks & paddleboards that are included in the stay! We were able to get fresh towels for the beach as often as we liked. Staff was very helpful! Our time at South Seas was great! Yes they are still rebuilding some areas and adding on more amenities, but we still had a great time. We stayed at a beach villa which was i. Pristine condition and very comfortable for our family of four. The marina side pools and slides were very fun and in great shape. The service we recieved was top notch. We were also provided a smores kit upon check in for the kids to use at their fire pit at night. Highly recommend this resort on Captiva.
This is a wonderful place, the adult pool was priceless because of so many children. Food was exceptional for a resort, the only real gripe is the drink prices. 9 bucks for a draft Modelo in a plastic cup. I had two mixed drinks and the wife two Mocktails and it was $60 dollars. I get it, its a resort but they are making a killing off the booze, I noticed many folks just brought their own because of this. Lower the price and you will sell more.
newly re-opened, clean, staff was fantastic, pleasant, social, housekeepers were excellent, (thank God for English to Spanish app). clean up from hurricane still going on so beach a little noisy but still relaxing. didn't like that there wasn't a safe in room, beds and linens very comfortable, breakfast was fresh/hot/good selection, great coffee. good company with a parrot named Coco lol. would stay again and recommend
