"Expedia confirmed our booking. When we arrived the hotel was closed and when we called someone picked up and hung up on us. Be mindful that the last 15 km are on a dangerous mountain road without guardrail and any ability to pass any other car most of the time. Safe yourself a headache and skip this horrible experience."

"I would give the staff 6 stars if I could. Awesome staff there, the room and overall experience exceeded my expectations. Would definitely come back this way on a motorcycle one day. The road here from Nice was awesome to drive on - The locals are friendly, the area is surrounded by all sorts of little gems. Even extended my stay by a day."

"The rooms are very nice, luxury mountain touch, the atmosphere of the hotel is great overall. But the spa is on reservation only and not allowed for kids which should be mentioned at the time of booking. There is a good breakfast but no restaurant or bar to relax at after ski. But the location is very central so many cafes around. The free shuttle to the ski is great and the service of it too. "

"The place is a large farmhouse, 1000 years ago it was used by farming monks. 15 minutes from Barcelonette and everything the Ubaye valley and the Mercantour have to offer (We're hikers, but folks come here to bike or drive their Porsches on mountain roads too). Diane and Frederic are wonderful and attentive hosts and the home made breakfast will definitely make you come for more."
