This hotel fit the bill for that purpose for a three-night stay, being no more than five minutes from the station on a very direct route. "The residence is in a quiet peaceful location reached via a windy hillly road. In the 4 nights we stayed in early September, we saw, from the large windows of our rooms, clear views of the hills and mountain, starry nights, misty cloudy views and even a lightening show. All spectacular. The two rooms were spacious enough and clean to our liking, affordable, the staff friendly and Chamonix a half hour drive away. "

After a very warm welcome, we were personally escorted to our room, where everything was explained—no need to read manuals. We were also offered coffee in the lovely coffee corner opposite the room.
