This place was fantastic, such a thoughtful and hospitable staff, always very prompt and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping to the service staff in the restaurant a cafe. Will be coming back here again!!"

"Beautiful and historical hotel right on the main square (Zocalo). The room was very large and comfortable for 2 friends. The rooftop bar/restaurant looks over the main square, including the Cathedral, and it was amazing. I highly recomend and would stay here again!"

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful! It has incredible old-world charm, stunning architecture, and a wonderful historic atmosphere. It’s well-maintained and captures Mexico's rich culture perfectly. One important warning for foreigners: They only accept cash. Since international travelers usually rely on credit cards for safety and convenience, having to withdraw large amounts of cash was a major hassle"

"Hotel Catedral was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was great and was in a great location. Our kids liked the breakfast buffet, especially the pastries :) The balcony bar was really nice with a great view of the catedral and the historic area. We had the unfortunate timing of our visit being during a few days of protests during our stay which closed off roads around the area as well as the main Zocalo itself being closed off for world cup preparations but nothing that...
