"Lovely room in a beautifully restored art deco building. Extremely well equipped, but television didn’t work and we had no hand soap when we checked in. Very minor things and didn’t spoil a great stay."

"A charming Gastropub hotel on the edge of Epping Forest conveniently located near Chingford overground station with direct links to Liverpool St. The hotel is a tudor style timber and white plaster building with stained glass windows amongst many other old world embellishments. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the restaurant a treat with exceedingly helpful and pleasant staff."

"The owner - Jasmine - was wonderful and couldn't do enough to help, she was kind, friendly, supportive and easy going. Her breakfast was perfect and she really made us welcome; will definitely be staying again and looking forward to it. The property is also close to Arnos Grove station (about 5-10 mins walk) and within Zone 4/5, so really easy to get to. The place is spotlessly clean and just gorgeous. Definitely coming back - thank you."
