"We stayed in April for 2 days at the Antico Verbano, and first impression is the location, which is beautiful. The garden is directly on the side of Lake Maggiore, and I could have stayed much longer just to enjoy sitting by the lake. The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. The accommodated our special requests, and we were very comfortable. However, everything is overshadowed by the great location, the views and surroundings. "This hotels gets the big things but fail on the small. Grand hotel, great beach, beautiful rooms, great breakfast, but as others note, you pay 25 to park for a day, in fact more if you use the car because payment is per hours capped at 25. We asked for iron. No. Not possible. Leave with staff and they will iron, I guess tomorrow.. and do on."
