"Was good, location ideal to visit the Rhine falls. "

"We booked a double room. However, two days before our scheduled stay, we received an e-mail offering us a free upgrade to a studio, with a full kitchen. We gratefully accepted. The property was delightful, and gave us the opportunity to shop locally, and cater for ourselves. There was parking right outside the door, and the local village was delightful. Recommended without reservation."

"Staff exceptional"

"Very beautiful buildings, garden, restaurant. Food was fantastic. Great to see the horses."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and breakfast was amazing. Easy parking that was close to our room."

"We’ve been traveling Europe for a few weeks, and so far this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed in. And it was quite affordable."

"Amazing staff more than makes up for any short comings"

"Wonderful staff, charming town on the offseason. Very quiet but plan on sleeping in since little is open before 8 AM."

"Perfect good location good service a lot of thing todo around "

"The only issue I had was checking in (unless I missed something). I was unable to access the hotel entrance (door located to the right of the building) even after using the app. I walked in through the restaurant entrance and was able to find my room key in a cubby at the top of the stairs. Other than having clearer instructions with checking in, the hotel is fabulous. It's very convenient and within walking distance to bus and train stops."

"Lovely hotel and very spacious! The staff are very friendly."

"Great hotel in a wonderful location. The food and service was excellent. "

"Location in Schaffhausen is perfect for walking, proximity to parks, The Munot, train station and a multitude of restaurants and shops. "

"We loved our stay here! The property is absolutely beautiful and has such an inviting atmosphere. The location is excellent just steps from a bus stop and a short bus ride to the train station. Best of all, the staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us great local tips and information. Highly recommend!"

"Preis -/Leistung ist super. Für eine Übernachtung ohne weitere Leistung braucht es absolut nicht mehr. Sauber und alles da, was man braucht. Sehr zentral gelegen. Unkompliziert mit Zugangscode. Kann ich bestens empfehlen."

"Easy check in Convenient Good breakfast Very clean "

"They were very accommodating, let us check in early, and over all just nice people. "

"Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr zentral, Frühstück in der Lobby toll und Gebäude historisch und erhalten."

"The hotel is nice, most of the staff was great, the rooms are dated, but the beds are comfy and the soaps are nice. Only visit if you are a democrat."

"The location was excellent-right across the street from the train station. The hotel was clean and the room was large and comfortable. It was mostly quiet though you could hear plumbing from other rooms. The breakfast was wonderful. And just a 15 minute train ride to Zurich airport!"
