"It’s our second time staying at the Doubletree in Brighton. Whilst our room was great, large, and had a huge bed, it did unfortunately stink of stale cigarettes. I don’t think the room should have been assigned to guests unless it had been aired for a few days. In saying that, I know that this hotel is usually perfection so wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! Breakfast was amazing and in a beautiful room too."

"The good: We were surprised by how quiet it was. There are bars, shops and the seafront very close by but as they are not right on that street, even on a summer Saturday evening it was peaceful. A fan was supplied which was much appreciated as it was an attic room with only a small window. There was a toilet just outside our room (shared bathroom). Check out was by 11am which is generous. The not so great: the hotel and room were tired, the carpets show a lot of wear, the mattresses were...

"I Lost something there Nd contacted the staff to know about it, they were not helpful on it"

"Walls had holes in, electrical fittings broken, bulb in holder smashed off electrocution risk. Roof leaks, which had broken the fire/smoke detector. Bookcase smashed holding its self together for dear life. Shower water cold zero hot. All in all properties in habitable, if wasnt for a bank holiday weekend and all being sold out i would have moved. Do no recommend."
