Hotels with a Gym in Illinois

Been staying here for a lot of years but the last few times it has not been very clean, it is in DESPERATE need of a renovation. The doors locks are not secured to the door. It looks like doors were broken into. The room needs cleaned, new tiling for bathroom floors & new paint. So run down… we will not be staying in the near future! We didn’t want housekeeping coming in the 3 days we were there but when we went to get 2 towels, wash cloths & hand towels after 2nd day they said none were...

This was the fourth time I’ve stayed here, and I’ll keep coming back. The location is very handy for families of Columbia College, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s priced well.

I stayed here to visit my child that attends the Art Institute and I was completely impressed. I will definitely stay here again.

No complaints. We stayed on the 18th floor and never had a long wait for the elevator (like I have experienced in some other places). The kitchenette was well stocked, beds soft and comfortable and bathroom is spacious in which I absolutely love.

Excellent Customer Service

Arlo Chicago is in the perfect location for walkable access to so many Chicago sights, excellent food (please try the Broken English Taco Pub around the corner!), bars, shopping, etc. It was also very conveniently located to access the L when we needed to get to other parts of the city! The staff was BEYOND accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and exceeded all comfort expectations! I also highly recommend the lobby bar for a great happy hour spot!!! We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. Hotel is well appointed with beautiful rooms and an elegant, luxurious bathroom. The staff was helpful and the hotel is in the middle of the best shopping abd restaurants in Chicago! Wull definitely be my "go to" hotel in Chitown!

We will definitely be staying here again! Great location, clean room, and great service. They even have a great complimentary breakfast which is a must have in a city like Chicago. The staff was great also. We had to switch trains for an earlier one due to weather and got into Chicago in the AM. Check in is 4pm and with two small children we were worried about what to do for hours but the staff helped us out and luckily had a room available.
