Great getaway for a few days immersed in nature, stunning hikes and views and wonderful staff and cuisine. Accent on on-site activities is justifiable; surrounding attractions outside the property, while famous, are incredibly crowded and congested and better to enjoy the excellent ambiance, service and cuisine and superb cabin rooms drenched with birdsongs!

My whole experience was absolutely amazing. Rooms were all the time in good condition. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Food was very hygienic , tasty as well as fresh. So much variety in food. They come to your table and make sure you are pleased with food if we need anything. Lots of activity to do in nature. Very informative. Staff was knowledgeable about Rainforest . Its children friendly .I highly recommend this place for families. Hope to visit again. 🙂

This place is a dream come true. I have always wondered what a villa in Bali would look like, and when I entered the doors of Les Candles, I was left in aw. The layout, deisgn and daily practices of this resort is geared for nature-lovers and eco-friendly tourists. Very nice hotel located at the top of a hill in Ooty. Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable bedding. Staff was extremely friendly and provided good service. Hotel location makes it easy to walk down to main city area where lots restaurants are available. However, you can easily eat at the in house restaurant as well. There is a game room for kids to play. Afternoon tea in the garden was nice everyday between. 5-6pm. Only suggestion would be to add a swimming pool to property.

We loved this hotel! It’s a bit rustic, but in a very appropriate fashion. If you are looking for a modern sort of stay, this place is not for you. The dining room feels like you have been transported to the 1970s. All of the staff are professional, courteous, and go out of their way to assist. Only wish: we wished they had an area with sofas, tables and a lit fireplace in the main lodge. The fireplace they had lit didn’t have too much loungy furniture, and the one that had all the good...
