Thimphu Hotels

Services are not at par with the price. WiFi connection was always unstable and particularly the food was not to the standard of a 5 star hotel.

I had a nice time staying in Khamsum inn . I wish I cound give them excellent rating. They need to work little more on that. Next time , I will ask for the room one above. Little away from noise and for a better view. Service staffs are wonderful , Like Drupchu , Purnima and others. Kitchen needs to be more professional. When I come back to Thimphu I know where to stay. Best of luck for Khamsum Inn .

The hotel is centrally located. Rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The serve good quality coffee and has a trained barista. The only downside is some of the rooms heating isn’t working at all.

We had a fantastic stay at Phuntsho Khangsar. It was a lovely spacious room with a beautiful location overlooking Thimpu City. We had the view of the famous Buddha statue straight from our balcony. The highlight of the place was the staff who were very warm and offered excellent service. Mr Tshering the Operations Manager was always ready to help. Delicious food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. This has the whole package. Had loads of fun staying here. Had some problems with the bill payment but the staff went the extra mile to help me through the process. The owner is a fantastic man. My go-to place for whenever I return to Thimphu for sure!

We had a spectacular time. In addition to a beautiful property the entire staff were exceptionally good and caring. The hotel has excellent food, great outdoor activities. Two areas to improve, the access road and the gym where the machines did not work well. Overall a wonderful stay.
