Oh, and they can rent you a scooter for 300 baht a day. It's not super cheap, but $10/day is reasonable, and you don't have to hunt a deal.

"It was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is little and there is no elevator, but they help you with the bags so no problem there. I only stayed for 1 night but if I had to stay longer I wouldn’t choose this hotel because it’s cramped."

Excellent location and outstanding service—we’re so glad we chose to stay here. The beachfront setting is beautiful, complete with its own small private beach, and the pool area is well-maintained with plenty of lounge chairs to relax in. The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking.

We stayed in the 8pers bungalow with the private pool and had a great time. there are 3 separate buildings, two of them have a queen sized bed and bathrooms and the other has 2 rooms with a queen and a shared bathroom. This is not the place for people who are accustomed to first class hotels or who like to take cruises where most everything is provided. In particular, it is not for people who are accustomed to complaining when things are imperfect (ants, a mediocre breakfast, etc.). Thai natives do not tolerate confrontation; they are the sweetest, most loving people in the world, and will worry endlessly about one's welfare. We had a FANTASTIC time at Rayavadee! Throughout our travels in Thailand, we stayed at all 5 star hotels and resorts, but this was by far our favorite. Not your typical hotel room, lots of wood and interesting decorations. All rooms are grouped around a mangrove. Nice mineral water swimming pool and cool restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. Entire staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Fantastisk beliggenhed, dejlig fin strand i den vestlige side. Lidt larm fra Long tails. Fyldt strand om dagen. Morgen og aften er bedre når der ikke er dagsturister ved stranden. Fin walking street med restauranter tæt på hotellet. Phra Nang strand kun 10 minutters gang fra hotellet.
Meget hjælpsom personale, super service. Dejlig morgenmad. Restauranten er også ok til frokost og aftensmad. Poolen blev ikke brugt da man skulle være meget tidlig op for at kunne finde en ledig liggestol.
