Our experience at this hotel was excellent. It needs to be noted that you will need to contact the owner Franco, via email to coordinate pickup from the ferry, as he does this for free to save you the 30 euro taxi fee, (drop off on day of departure included too). The owner, Franco and his family are very nice and the amenities at this hotel are excellent! You get breakfast each morning that is pretty nice, there is a hot tub and the views are exceptional, you can expect to view a island sunset...
Staff went above and beyond to help us. We were staying at a different hotel and my girlfriend wanted to stay another night. We booked this room and staff offered to pick up our luggage for us. They called our existing hotel and made all the arrangements. We started our day at 7am leaving our luggage at the old hotel and came to our room when the day was done. Everything was in the room waiting for us and check in was super easy. Thank you for making our extended stay so easy
Such a great place to stay and yes reserve a space for dinner there at the property. The food was amazing. We spent 2 weeks traveling around Italy and it was our top meals we had. Luigi was so kind and helpful. I did not catch his wife’s name but she was also very nice. They went above and beyond and they take great pride in their business. So happy with our stay. I came to this place already loving it and I was not disappointed with my stay. In fact, I was disappointed with myself for only booking one night in Capri! This is such a convenient location being by the port and is right in front of the bus station and being steps away from the beach. Breakfast was one of my all time favorite breakfasts in Italy. They serve you as if you were eating at a restaurant and are all extremely helpful with tips on the town. I can't imagine staying elsewhere.

Hotel La Scalinatella was located in the best part of the island surrounded by the most amazing views. The hotel and room was the most comfortable we stayed in during our time on the Amalfi Coast. I wish we would have stayed here our entire trip, and took day excursions to all the other sights (Positano, Amalfi, Ravelo, Sorrento). The staff is so helpful and the free breakfast is AMAZING.

This place was perfect! Antonino and Giuseppina were so nice and accommodating throughout or stay. Their dog Luna was so sweet. This place is also close to the bus stop and the chair lift, and it was so easy to get around from here. Highly recommend this for your stay at Anacapri/Capri. Grazie mille Antonino and Giuseppina!
