"Good not great. Excellent customer service. Lack of attention to detail with room cleaning. Restaurant service slow. Beautifully decorated and aesthetic. Located on beach but not swimmable. You have to walk/travel to other beaches nearby especially if you have you d children who want to play in the water."
"Hotel showing its age in spots and could use a few touch ups. Front desk tells you they pull amounts charged to room after 7 days. This isn’t true. They pull random amounts almost daily. Difficult to figure out what the charges are for and to monitor. Suggest pay as you go to keep track. Amounts will eventually disappear but it makes it confusing. Beware cost of convenience food in cafe. $15 USD for a larger bag of Lay’s potato chips. Breakfast good. Bar food good. Fine dining is not. Careenage bar food hit and miss. Suggest Champers and Buzo’s. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make a huge difference as service is not always like that in some spots in Barbados."
"Everything was great except for the beach which was full of Sargassum seaweed, it happens once in a while and it's nobody's fault. The Crane provided a free shuttle and accommodation to Harbour Lights beach which was absolutely amazing, so no bad after all, the only minor inconvenience was the commute.
Great experience overall, will always love the place."
"Great location at end of Dover Beach St Lawrence Gap end. Staff very helpful. Huge inviting main pool, daily aqua class, ample sun loungers when we visited by pool and on beach (end Feb). Well equipped kitchen (including blender, non stick pans etc).
Big TV in bedroom & lounge. Would recommend

Waves Resort & Spa, Barbados, An Autograph Collection® All-Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"This property on the face value because of its cleanliness, great maintenance would qualify as a 4 star all inclusive resort. But being an avid traveler with a YouTube travel “Sonny’s travel adventure “ I know for sure that this hotel does not meet up to the standards of a 4 star all inclusive. For one the breakfast and lunch food choices are repetitive who plans this menus should be fired. As to customer service the staff are very nice people but need proper customer service training to bring them up to a 4 or 5 star rating as they do have the potential. Though advertised as having one they do not have a hot tub( there is a tub but it’s an extension of the pool on the adult side)
The property does a great job of utilizing its limited parking. It is very safe with great security. The manager Stephon was very helpful and accommodating.
The location is great as you can get to most part of the island. The beach at the hotel is disappointing but there are so many great beaches close by that you really don’t need it.
Overall though great accommodation but the food choices were limited and I paid too much for it compared to other all inclusive in DR, Jamaica, Costa Rica, etc"
