Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? From the time you enter the massive fortress doors, you are ushered into paradise. The staff is top notch--nothing is too small or overlooked. We had arranged to stay at this hotel for only two nights at the end of a week long tour around Sri Lanka. However due to checking out of another hotel in the Galle area as it did not match our expectations we arranged an additional night which was no issue for them. The hotel has only been open a few months so everything is still in tip top condition. Our wish is that it stays like this as the rooms, location and service are all of high quality. Let me start we arrived at the hotel staff was super friendly right from the beginning. As we we’re walking to see our room we went towards the water to find out no beach since we are beach people my wife started to lose it I said let’s see the room first as she is telling Me I am not staying here . We go up to the room it was beautiful and comfortable! Well she opens cabinets where tv is supposed to be no tv boy she wanted to murder me . I said let’s spend the night and we will talk about it ....

Lovely property very close to harbor but far enough away to be quiet. The room was comfortable and we had the ocean view version with a great view. Staff very nice and helpful.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the pool provided a lovely cooling break aftwr a long day. Breakfast was incredible. Additionally, the staff was so kind and even let me check out late due to an evening flight. I highly recommend this property.

A stay to remember, the property is located right in front of the ocean and is at a walking distance from European style streets and local markets. The hospitality was unmatched.
