"I was there for my husband of 52 years funeral.We had 5 rooms and checked in only to find bed bugs.!!!! My daughter in law was bitten we took big to front desk and checked out.I was so embarrassed to tell family why we had left .Plus your ad said a restaurant and bar and guess what NOT there!!!!"

"I was able to book a room, check in, and check out without talking to another person. I was fine with that, but some people may want more of a personal touch. The room was clean. However, the room smelled like sewer for most of the night, only fading when we took a shower. The refrigerator in the room did not work, spoiling our leftovers. It was quiet, most likely because the hotel was fairly empty. The breakfast in the morning was included but not good. Pancakes made by a robot, did not taste right. Eggs and sausage were fine, same with the cereal. Coffee and pastries were bad. Serviceable as a place to stop off to go to sleep but I would not recommend as a place to stay for multiple nights. It is about a 7 minute drive to Mount Rushmore which was convenient, and there are lots of quotes from Teddy Roosevelt for you to enjoy. 2/5 stars"

"It was an okay stay, filled out a form advising I would check out right at 11 and there was staff still knocking on my door at 9:30 am asking when I was leaving, so the form was useless as the staff didn’t care to read my response!"
