Halifax County Hotels

Super cute BnB, impeccably decorated interior, and great host + communication. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Area is not walking distance from downtown, but the house does neighbor two parks and the water for walking around.

We spent one night here at this beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and lovely lake front property. The room was quiet (although this could be different if the additional guests were noisier; we did hear conversations in the morning). The room and common areas were very clean. The communal kitchen and living room were well appointed. Self serve breakfast with numerous choices. Bed and bed linens were very comfy. Close to Martinique Beach at the end of the peninsula where we saw a...

The Salmon River Country Inn is located on the water, just off the road (road noise was not an issue at all), and has its own restaurant on site where you have breakfast and can get dinner. Indeed, we had dinner overlooking the bay at sunset, watching a sea otter hunt: very picturesque. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is typical continental with a German leaning (the dinner menu is seafood and German). The only real downside is the rooms are on the small side, but you can sit...

This was such an enjoyable stay, all the way around. The hotel offered everything one could need or want to be comfortable for a longer stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

It is in a great location and is a very nice hotel. I will stay here every time I come to Halifax.

Clean room, beautiful interior and 5 min from downtown so amazing location

Good breakfast, fairly quiet, clean

I took the train to Halifax, so being able to walk directly to and from the train station was very convenient. Being next to the Boardwalk was also a huge plus

Seulement le monte personne à l'extérieur ne fonctionne pas mais pour une courte distance je peux marcher. À part ça tout est excellent. Sauf on ne sait pas pour lles postes de tv gratuits. Merci encore, confort excellent, très beau.

Very good hotel. No issues whatsoever. Walk to downtown and waterfront in 25 mins.

Didn’t do breakfast, but parking right outside front door was perfect!

The place was great and connected to a mall. There is construction everywhere in Halifax, but all hotels in the area will have the same issue. The harbor boardwalk is close by. We had one of the front desk staff whiz by with his black backpack on to return from lunch on time and squeeze through the open doorway sliver to close the door in our face as we were carrying items in both hands. It was a rude move for anyone, much less staff. Hard to describe, but a real crass move. The rest of the...

Dami, our host, was great! The place was clean, and it is a great location for getting around the city.

Very clean and comfortable! Staff was very personable. Breakfast was amazing, great way to start the day!

Loved this place, super clean, had everything we needed for a peaceful nights stay. Colin was friendly. Amazing views. Close to good food, too!

Sam and Kanye were the best hosts. Went out of their way to welcome me and make sure I had anything I needed during my stay. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. I would return in a heartbeat.

Truly exceptional accommodations in a serene environment. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Our stay in this beautiful dome in Nova Scotia was one of the most unique and memorable experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The dome was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It offered all the modern comforts while still feeling like a true escape. One of the highlights was the incredible night sky. The outdoor amenities were fantastic. The...

What a fun and unique way to spend our 20th wedding anniversary! The staff go above and beyond to inform you of how everything works before you go (watch the video!!). We especially loved the private hot tub and super comfortable bed! The view was amazing and our time there was very relaxing! It wasn’t as remote as we imagined (it’s on a residential street) but that was a feature for us as we weren’t far from town or Halifax. We stayed for 2 nights and that seemed the perfect amount of time...
