I booked through Expedia and they (Expedia) misrepresented the accommodations. The information about the room and the email confirmation I received stated that the room would have 2 queen beds and a fold-out couch. When we arrived late in the evening we discovered there was no fold-out couch. My daughter's boyfriend was with us and thus, had nowhere to sleep. This is my first time leaving a review. When I walked in, the lady at the front desk made me feel like I was home! No joke. I even told my mom about it. She was so warm and inviting and made it seem like we had known each other forever. The hotel has this cool robot called Tigerbot. It’s so cool to watch how it delivers items to your door that you requested and how it goes back to its home base on the first floor. As always, the room was clean and the pool was enjoyable. It was a quick but pleasant stay, we arrived late and the front doors lock at 10pm but we were let right in. Check in was quick and easy, I didn’t get a name but she was very friendly and polite. Checked out on the app, grabbed a quick breakfast for the road and dropped the room keys in the box at the front desk. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

We booked a golf weekend here because this very comfortable hotel is only about 15 minutes away from the Robert Trent Jones Grand National Golf Course at Opelika. It is also very close to the Auburn University Campus. So the location and price make it a very good value. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. This property and the Staff are amazing. They deserve every award and it was truly an incredible stay. We have had the opportunity to travel the world and have stayed in many 5 star hotels…I would rate The Laurel as one of those experiences. If you have the opportunity to be in Auburn it is a MUST. Absolutely loved our stay!

The rooms are very clean, nice and comfortable. Not the greatest area of town with an empty mall and several other closed businesses nearby but a great value for the money and a clean comfortable hotel room.
