The pictures of the hotel you see on the web do not do it justice at all. The room was large and beautiful with tons of windows / glass doors opening out to your terrace where you could see the ocean and islands. The food was wonderful and the staff treated you like you were the only guests there and knew you by name. They went out of their way for us. I would love to go back someday. It was paradise.

Our trip to Namale, Fiji was unparalleled to any other. The staff is superb, going out of their way to provide you the best service and experience you have ever had. The dive shop, front desk, dinning, and house cleaning personnel was A+! The food and drink was fantastic. Our room, called Totoka (meaning beautiful), was stunning. It was large, adjacent to a pool and spa and an indoor basketball court, all over-looking the ocean. My son and I had the best massage of our lives! I plan on going...

Amazing resort in a beautifully stunning country. The staff was by far my favorite part about staying here. All were local Fijians and they were some of the nicest people my now fiance and I have met at a resort. They actually helped me plan popping the big question to my fiance :)

I normally don't post reviews but Matangi Island hit it out of the park! The staff took care of transfers from the airport (by car and boat) before we arrived. We were met at the airport and ushered to the island. The staff greeted us singing with coconut juice waiting. Very nice after a long plane ride. The room was great. Location is good

This resort is definitely off the beaten path. It is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was picturesque. From the white sand beaches to the perfectly clear blue water. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable. I would recommend taking a portable fan for additional air flow at night during the summer. The staff was overly gracious! Accessible only by boat, this Fiji oasis offers the ideal underwater long dreamed of, experience. Rainbow reef offers divers many dive spots and even snorkelers can enjoy the shallow, clear, colorful, soft coral reefs and fish. Rooms are well thought, modern and a wonderful coffee/tea bar with refrigerator to cool milk and water. Oh, the outdoor showers are fabulous! But the best part was the people . Sera took care of us. She was there to order our preferences for food, provide breakfast, lunch...

Clean & well maintained,great pool ,staff and excellent breakfast

Beautifully constructed and maintained lodge. Incredible view of the harbor and bay. Steep, unpaved road for about 1/2 km to the lodge. Normal taxis will not take you there so you will have to arrange a 4 wheel drive taxi. If you are reasonably fit you can hike up from the paved road - we did it several times and we are in our 70’s - even hauled up our carry on luggage the first time because we couldn’t get a taxi to take us. Loved the place!

The staff were extremely kind, and welcomed us, and mase us feel like family. They learned each of our names (family of 5). We want to return someday. We love tge garden island resort and the people there.

The employees were great and treated us very well. An air con did not work and they switched us to another room and it was great. They care about their people. The tours were very well done and we had a lot of fun. I think the price for the tours were reasonable.

Could have been a little bit cleaner, property starting to show its age.

This is a good-value hotel on the outskirts of Labasa. It has parking if you have a rental car. The room has a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. The place is not fancy, but it's clean and easy to get to, on the main road into town.

The stay was only for a week but it was very nice and easy. The food is good but what made it great was the meeting of fellow travelers at breakfast and dinner. It is very quiet at night making sleep come easy. If you needed it the rooms come equipped with air conditioning, if not rooms are screened and louvered with a ceiling fan to assist the wonderful trade winds that I miss right now. Daku Resort is close to town but closer to the jungle. The reef just on the other side of the main road is...
