The farm surrounding is picturesque and we loved the cabin. What a nice touch to have a gift for the children too! The hospitality was excellent, I highly recommend this if you are looking for some peace and tranquility.

The Sweetfontein Boutique Farm is away from town and so peaceful and quiet, so refreshing! The farm has several different cottages with different amenities to suit your needs. Our room had a large comfortable bed and small twin bed, plus refrigerator, private bathroom, air conditioning and large patio with plenty of outdoor furniture. Spectacular hotel to stay in. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious and the staff were so welcoming. I wish we stayed there extra nights. Hardly any cellphone signal which is a great thing sometimes. WIFI in the bar area. The star gazing excursion is a must and such a lovely experience. 2 things I would reconsider.....1) the game drives and star gazing is too expensive especially if you are a family of 4 and the reserve does not have all of the BIG...

From the moment guests arrive at De Bergkant, they feel special. Even the parking lot is well thought out and pretty (as parking lots go). Tracey greeted us with ice tea from local rooibos plants and honey from local bees. Our room was clean, beautiful in a delightful way, and comfortable. The grounds were lovely and we took a dip in one of the pools before a delicious breakfast. It’s an impeccably designed property.

Everything you need in the cottages. Solar powered to overcome the days of loadshedding. Pet friendly with lots of open space. Fantastic hosts.

Really nice! Big, clean, airy, comfortable room and bed with nice deck overlooking the mountains. Quiet, great sleep. Super staff, excellent breakfast, lovely common areas and beautiful grounds. Happily accomodated my touring bicycle. Just first rate. Stay here.
