"A great stay. Staff was amazing, went above and beyond. The hotel manager was so caring and helpful. The over water villas were stunning. The rooms well well appointed as so clean! The water crystal clear and the snorkeling great right from the room. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was nice. Staff helps you arrange whatever you need. Highly recommended!"

"Proses check in out mudah dan cepat tanpa Deposite. Staff ramah. Kamar bersih, ac dingin ,shower kencang. Untuk minuman reffil sendiri dan di sediakan dispenser di tiap lorong. Likasi berada di pusat kota. Dekat dengan kuliner dan pusat perbelanjaan. Jika mau renang bisa ke sebelah di hotel novotel. Mantap deh!! "

"First off I was greeted very nicely by the front desk . Made to feel welcome. Then upon entering the room there was my photo and personal greeting on the TV . Wow was I surprised..never in the 25 years of traveling around the world havevi ever seen this as well as a note from the Big Boss. You sold me right there.. the room was laid out Well, bed very comfortable, nice view of Samarinda from the window also Breakfast was well laid out, plentiful selections and hot pancakes really were enjoyable.. The Dayak Music was nice added bonus. The bar on the 9th floor was nice place to sit and chill at night and chll at night "

"The check-in and check-out process was very easy and fast without a deposit. The FO gave me a room with a nice view, the sea and the pool. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the shower was very strong. but now they don't provide bar soap, shower cap, toothbrush in the bathroom but when you check in, they will ask for this and if you need it, they will give it to you. everything is ok, only the security in front of the lobby door must be alert if guests bring a lot of luggage. There is no need to ask whether they need help carrying the suitcase or not. I think it's better to just help directly without having to ask. Novotel Balikpapan, January 5, 2026"
