The location was great, the rooms nice and clean and the staff very nice and friendly.

Very spacious apartments. Grounds are nice. The road was a bit noisy in the morning.

The staff were friendly and helpful :) Tortella is a quaint town surrounded by beautiful nature and Hotel Alta Garroxta is a great jumping off point!

This is a beautiful property in what is one of the prettiest regions os Spain. We spent one night here before our hot air ballon the next day given the property is about 35 or so minutes from the site. The hotel has a lot of character and the rooms were spacious. The front desk staff we interacted with was great, as was the restaurant staff, including Consuelo. The food was especially delicious, given most of it comes from the region, including the wild boar. I reserved a room and got an apartment for the same price. This seemed to be a family run place. Everyone was very accommodating. Had a really nice dinner in the restaurant one night. Cooked in my small apartment the other two nights. Nice break from living hotel room to hotel room.

The hotel was AMAZING!! Every detail was well thought out and the service was impeccable. Definitely have dinner on the property for the wonderful views and the excellent food!

Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the full breakfast was outstanding! We had eggs, cheese and ham, juice, homemade cake and coffee.
