"The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The food and alcohol is plentiful and tasty. The rooms are very nice, but note, that the shower in the junior suite is in the room so if anyone in your group wants to shower privately (older children, etc.), you'll need to leave the room. There's live music every evening in the plaza so it's perfect if you're dining at the buffet. The shows were mainly themed dancing in front of a large screen which were good, but it would have been nice to have more variety. There's a big party every Friday night at one of their other resorts up the road. It's considered family-friendly, but it's basically a rave. There are some activities during the day mainly around the pool, but otherwise it's a low-key resort. If that's what you're going for then it'll be perfect. If you're using Destination Services for transport to/from the airport note that it's difficult to find them when you exit the terminal. They have a small booth near the shuttles. We found them after searching for a while. We booked an excursion with them, which was great. We ended up booking a private car for our trip back to the airport because they wanted to pick us up 5.5 hrs before our flight. For the price of an airport meal we were able to have a relaxing breakfast at the resort and leave two hours later. "

"The room was immaculate both morning and night. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were very appreciative of tips both big and small but never once asked or gave off the impression they expected it. Food quality was high in my humble opinion. At times could have use a little more spice but that just personal preference. Ample selection of food both native to Mexico and international flavours. We stayed in kantenah in a family select room. The family select amenities were fantastic and quality can only be fully understood with experiencing them. Would and will recommend to friends and family. Lastly, beaches and pools all in excellent condition with ample help from staff if required. Kids (5) and (7) had an amazing time as well. Absolutely excellent!!!"
