Desert Nights Camp
10/10 Excellent
"Very family friendly, activities on-site very easy to organise. We went on an excellent quad bike tour on the dunes. Dinner had an excellent choice, breakfast could be improved.
Suggestions are to have blankets around in the evening and didn't like that all the tables near heaters were reserved. It should just be for whoever arrives for dinner first."
"From the moment we arrived until departure, we were treated like royalty. The hotel management and staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, flexible and accommodating.
We stayed in the suite that has a private outdoor pool that directly overlooks Wadi Bani Khalid, perched high above in the surrounding hills.
The view is breathtaking, and the place is serene and relaxing.
The property itself is new, and they’re still putting in some finishing touches. This is definitely a hidden gem, an under the radar property that is simply the single best property to stay at.
Pro tip: last km is an unpaved dirt road incline into the hillside. if you are not comfortable with this, just arrive before sunset. An overall incredible experience, highly recommended!"
"I loved this place. It was so great. From the. Food to the activities. The pick up service was easy no issues at all. Great sunset and sunrise views. I would recommend this place. Staff super fun and friendly "
"Terrible experience only 3 families and no activity available. Also on a dinner 3 dishes are available and no bbq available as promised. Also no borne fire. On a breakfast no buffet a few things to eat. I will not recommend others waste of money"
"Beautiful place in a great location, with a huge red dune behind you. The sunsets are gorgeous.
I was the only visitor when I was there, as it is still low-season - so I was expecting a reduced experience but They complimentary upgraded my room to their best tent, which was amazing! And then they complimentary took me dune bashing as well…
The staff member in the dining area kept me company while I ate, and they provided so much food for me.
Super relaxing place. Be aware that they now take only card for the activities so no need to bring cash!
I did the Bedouin visit (paid for) and dune bashing (complimentary). The driver was great and offered lots of information for me as we drove. However I would skip the Bedouin visit as the women sits on her mobile phone watching videos and arguing with her daughter, the entire time after she has tried to sell you things. Her and her family did not really want to spend time here - which is ok, but better to cancel the trip than go for no reason - it does not feel very authentic unfortunately.
I will definitely visit this camp again. Thank you team!!"
