This is truly a unique and amazing place to stay. You are right in the middle of the jungle, with all that entails. The cabanas are small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. They do have air conditioning as well, which is a must in this area. The onsite restaurant is convenient and reasonable. Most of the staff, including front desk, we encountered over 4 days did not speak English, but we were able to piece together communication. We stayed here because of the hotel's location between Copan and Quirigua. They consider themselves an amusement park. They have a couple of pools and mini golf. We didn't have time for either, but the facilities looked fine. The hotel was clean and pleasant. It had enclosed parking. The desk clerk required that we stay at check out until someone had checked our rooms. This was a bit annoying.
