Izabal Department Hotels

Very friendly, eager to suggest restaurants and places to visit We slept the best of any place in Guatemala that we had visited - tranquility

I love the property...this is my second time staying there in 6 months and won't be my last. Proposed to my now fiancé during my most recent trip in March of 2022.

Nice place especially if you're traveling with kids

This is truly a unique and amazing place to stay. You are right in the middle of the jungle, with all that entails. The cabanas are small but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. They do have air conditioning as well, which is a must in this area. The onsite restaurant is convenient and reasonable. The attention to detail in every square foot of this property was amazing. From the owner greeting us, to the staff! Highly recommended!

The staff was absolutely amazing. The room was clean and the on site restaurant food was delicious. Great location Will definitely be back.

Nice people

Una excelente opción en Copan.

Perfect location and easy to get to town and local restaurants. Very clean and staff were very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful!

El lugar estaba muy limpio el desayuno , muy bueno , y el personal muy amable , y si lo recommend this hotel

The only thing I was unhappy with is that breakfast was not included with the Expedia reservation. However, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for purchase at the hotel as it has its own restaurant.

Excelente hotel y muy buen personal muy amable y dispuesto a hacer más comoda la estadiq

What a nice little hotel this was! I stayed here with 5 family members recently on a visit to Copan Ruinas. The room was cozy and the beds were comfortable. The complimentary traditional breakfast was made fresh each morning and was delicious. Many thanks to the owner Blanca who was very accommodating and even waited up until 1:00 AM to check us in after bad traffic from Tegucigalpa turned our 8 hour drive into a 15 hour one. Offering a low room rate, great service and a great location make this...
