"Our stay was wonderful. Caught in a storm, we had to spend most of our time inside, enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and a nice view of water birds and free-roaming cattle."

"The communal coffee station, would be nice if a little round table and a couple of chairs could be placed alongside the wall! To have a cup of coffee and eat your toast! Love the indoor garden area. Jade was extremely helpful, thank you. Noticed along the floors in the toilets, this hasn’t been completed. Beautiful decor. Thank you, Jenny"

"A beautiful place to stay. Because of the age of the hotel, there was some noise from other rooms, but nothing to worry about. Pillow selection could be improved too."

"Enjoyed my stay - it was very easy. Breakfast had a lot of options. A really nice touch was that housekeeping left the heating on so when I arrived at 7pm, it was to a warm room with the lights on (it was cold outside). Thank you."

"We only booked for a 1 night stay so it was okay. No amenities as in toothbrush, toothpaste, bars of soap, shower cap, no bathmats or hand towels, no instructions as to how to use the television. The little things that matter were missing. The really bright features were the Basalt restaurant which was very good and the location on a hill with brilliant ocean views."
