A great place to stay in Christchurch. Conveniently located off the main road to the airport. Access to sights and activities is excellent.
Also easy to get to some great cafes,restaurants, and shopping areas. Staff are super nice and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Bill and Pat went above and beyond to make my stay excellent.
Rooms are quiet and comfy and have a full kitchenette.
Some also have spa tubs. Highly recommend the Airport Palms.

staff was phenomenal. went above and beyond. stayed for 9 days. found the place to be very clean. bedding was more than comfortable, with heated mattress pads too!!! had a 1 bedroom unit. individual heating system in each room, floors heated, towel rack heated. kitchen fully supplied, newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. nearby grocery, fish and chips, pharmacy - all within walking distance of a very nice, quiet neighborhood. easy bus service into city. One minute walk to bus # 29 that takes you into downtown for sightseeing and eating establishments.
Motel staff was most helpful and the onsite restaurant was outstanding.
One of my favorite places I've ever stayed at. The owners are incredible and the love they have for the place shows. Wonderful rooms with kitchenette, little coffees and teas, and a free laundry! Cute little playground, washing line, bbq available, and the most gorgeous grounds complete with flowers. The owners helped with navigating nearby and answered any questions I had, especially not having a car. 10/10!
The room was spacious and warm! Warm is a good thing here since it was July and most other places we stayed at were freezing, so we really appreciated that. We really liked everything about the room, and the coffee/dining table was really practical. The owner/manager was really nice too.
Golden hotel is the perfect stay once landing in Christchurch and before leaving again. Very clean and nice space. Staff is also responsive and kind with inquiries. There is a Vietnamese cafe right on the main lobby so very convenient for a quick pick me up. Overall, would stay here again so definitely recommend!
The room was great. The bathroom was great except there was no hair conditioner. The floor however did not appear to have been cleaned. The carpet had stuff on it (including someone’s old contact lens!) and the floor was sticky on parts. The kitchenette was stocked but we didn’t really need that since we ate out every meal. Overall good stay.
The hotel is a very convenient location to the terminal. Often international flights get in late like mine and I emailed the hotel in advance to let them know I was a late checkin and my room was ready and the team on hand were so friendly and helpful. The room felt fresh, the sheets were so soft. I honestly had the best sleep after my flight and didnt rush leaving because of late checkout.

This is a beautiful property located across the street from the Botanical Garden and green space. We stayed in the suite which I would recommend. It is so so nice! The host and hostess were available on the premise for what ever we needed. There are several areas in the villa for relaxation. It is quite for sleeping and safe for walking at night within a few blocks of shopping and eating.
Very well appointed room, spacious. Loved the outdoor patio. Rooms have snacks and drinks available for a reasonable price which is a nice touch. It was a convenient location for us.
The rooms were clean, the bar and restaurant areas were cozy and welcoming, and the complimentary shuttle made it easy to get to the airport on time for my flight.
