"We stayed two nights at this hotel, mainly because of its proximity to the airport. It was a basic no-frills place; not as posh looking as the website implied. Everything worked very well. The shower was good, bed was comfortable, TV worked fine and the mini-kitchen was well-appointed. The staff were helpful. It was super convenient to the airport and to the train into the city. No real complaints. It’s quite spread out, and finding our rooms at 1 am was a bit challenging. I’d definitely stay...

"Good size comfortable room but dated. The only problem was the walls are too thin. I could here the TV from both adjacent rooms, one was at 3.00am so it was hard to sleep. For that reason, I won't stay there again."
"Very flash place to stay, marble everywhere, on the floor and in the columns. Large rooms and the shower and bathroom is the size of a small room. Staff were pleasant and had a nice meal in the restaurant. Good location right on the Swan River."

Loved this hotel and staff. Great afternoon wine and cheese. Located near everything. They recommended great restaurants. Can't say enough nice things about it.

Coffee machine in the lobby, free apples.
Red cat is just stone throw away to the city, Watertown is a block away that you definitely want to visit, and there is the yellowcat.
Only thing they could improve is to offer late check out.
I had a wonderful stay, in large part because I was able to secure a room on a high floor, where the view over the park is spectacular. The rooms on the lower floors are a bit noisier and do not have such great views. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the neighborhood was lovely. I will definitely book here when I next return to Perth.
Loved everything about the Alex, but as usual, it was the people that made the real difference... Cool and "hip", but unpretentious and very comfortable. Probably one of the best locations I've ever experienced in a hotel, with great restaurants one block away and great museums one block in the other direction. Will be back!
loved this! Great location by the stairs and the park, washer/dryer were a huge bonus as we were there for an extended time. walking to the station and Elizabeth Quay was easy.
Nice clean rooms, bed was comfy, breakfast was bang on, only thing that was disappointing was I needed a larger plate fir my Chicken Caesar Salad but when I went to ask for one they said they don't do that, so some of my Salad ended up on the floor.
