"Basic & functional is the best description. The available amenities worked fine .. there's just not a lot offered here. Bed was comfy, limited pillows. Finding ice was hard .. searched from the 4th floor to ground to find one. Manager was very professional and friendly. Lots of hot water available. No facial tissues in room wasn't helpful. Quite secure with lots of shops & restaurants nearby"

"When I travel to the Kent, Wa., area I usually select this hotel for a couple of reasons. (1) The hotel grounds property is well lit and secured, as a result no car vandalism. (2) It's centrally located near major highways so commute times are non stressful. It's my go to spot : )."
"Excellent staff and stay. Appreciated first-floor accommodations for my parents, both with mobility issues and the 0-entry shower. Pool was open and a bit cold, except on days where outside sun and temp was above 75. Ideal breakfast scenario with made-fresh hot and cold options with name brand products, e.g. Jimmy Dean, Yoplait, etc. all-day coffee and water bar available in the lobby with large-screen TVs for watching sports games. Highly recommend."

"I stayed at this hotel for a week due to my husband being air lifted from our home town to Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue. The staff here was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are very clean & nice. They don't have breakfast but you can buy vouchers for Woods Coffee next door. It's a good deal & their coffee drinks & food are delicious. I would highly recommend the Hotel 116!"

The pool and hot tub were nice and in great condition.
Laundry room on the 5th floor was clean and machines were in good condition.
Breakfast was very good and they offered several options for everyone.

Easily the best hotel experience I have ever had. The cleanest most respectful staff in the land. I think this experience was so good because it’s Chinese owned. Just top to bottom flawless experience. Ps don’t miss the morning breakfast! It Was restaurant quality and also has so many options. Only thing I could complain about is no hot tub:( but does have a pool:)
We would highly recommend the Kimpton Monaco to anyone and would absolutely love to stay here if we returned to Seattle! The front desk personnel were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The location was ideal to walk anywhere in the city, and using the light rail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the extra surprise of wine hour, and were delighted with the Harbor Cruise and restaurant vouchers. Even without the unexpected extras, we loved this hotel.
One of three Hyatt properties next to each other this hotel is smaller but cozy and friendly. Good restaurant, great spa with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and nail salon. Walking distance from the Pike Place Market and a block away from the Paramount Theater and the Seattle Convention Center. Great food options in the blocks surrounding the hotel. I'll be back.
The staff is always so nice . Helped us check in quickly . When we needed some food heated up. The lady was super friendly and thoughtful. Had a smile on her face the whole time even though it was very late at night . I’m 7 months pregnant and I get random cravings . She made the stay perfect.
When driving in it looked kind of old but the hotel was nice ! Regina at the front desk was so nice and helpful! Awesome energy and very welcoming . Hotel free breakfast was good! Great location! The restaurant across the street was really good too. Was here for two nights and three days! I would stay again .
It was a nice stay. Beautiful and comfortable room. Check out was a bit crazy as the cruises were coming in as we were leaving. That is understandable.
The parking is incredibly easy in this location! It was super!
