"We had a fabulous stay at The Clan Hotel Singapore. After a grueling 24-hour journey from the U.S., this place felt like a reward. The pool was a highlight—great views of the city and just the right spot to pretend you have your life together while floating around. The breakfast buffet was genuinely good (not just “hotel good”) with tons of options, and the patio made it very easy to linger longer than planned. What really stood out, though, was the people. Everyone we interacted with was personable, professional, and genuinely kind—never stiff or transactional, just easy and welcoming in a way that makes a difference when you’re running on fumes. Service across the board was excellent. We did have a pretty serious A/C issue the first night—like “is this a sauna?” level—but the team handled it quickly and with real care, which we appreciated. The location is almost unfair. You can walk to a ton of places, and if you don’t feel like it, the MRT is literally attached to the hotel. It makes getting around so easy that it feels like cheating. Big shoutout to the bell staff—they were incredibly helpful and knew everything. One of them went especially above and beyond, and of course, I lost his card like a champion, so I can’t name him… but he deserves the praise. We’d absolutely stay here again."

"We booked our 4 night stay with our family of 4 and we loved our stay with them! Location is so convenient, especially if staying with young kids. The family room we booked was clean, well stocked with amenities, the hotel staff were very polite and friendly and helpful, they promptly responded to the requests we had, The breakfast buffet was really good with both local and western and kid-friendly options, baked goods and coffee was delicious. The pool area had a nice view with plenty of lounging areas. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have a relaxing family staycation."

"The hotel coukdn't have been better. Although small (typical for Singapore), the room was extremely well organized, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was outstanding. They even refunded me for the 1st night of my reservation, which I missed due to delayed flights and a missed connection. I call it classy! The hotel is also well located, next to China town and about a mile from the Gardens by the Bay. I highly recommend the Mercure ICON City Center for your stay in Singapore. "
