We stayed two weeks in a room with a kitchenette over looking the square. WE LOVED IT!. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom clean and they serviced the room every day even on Sabbath and a holiday. This little hotel is just a couple blocks away from the train. The bus is just a half a block. The Yehuda Market is only about 4-5 blocks away. The two burner stove top did not work so they supplied a hot plate. The Arthur is exactly what it claims to be. The description and photos are exact and the other reviews are pretty much dead on and the service is beyond compare. They make you feel like family.
The rooms- Small (most are) but homey with excellent utilization of the space. We felt like it was out home away from home. Bring conditioner! They only have a 2-in-1 shampoo....
Mimi, Yoel and Talia were fantastic! They genuinely cared about us and our welfare. They were always, warm, helpful and full of great knowledge about anything we needed. I would highly recommend Hotel Biazi!
The hotel is so close to the Damascus Gate it made walking in and out of the old city really easy. We got to the hotel after midnight and they were there waiting for us. The free breakfast in the morning was fantastic and we were off for the day. We needed to check out late and move rooms and they were very happy to give us the big room so we could all get ready for the airport after a day of touring.
Well we got there after a terrible day of delayed flights and lost luggage. The building outside looked sketchy so we were thinking out bad luck will continue. However the room is on the 21 floor everything is brand new , great design and breathtaking view of the city. It looks like the pictures. It's a brand new hotel so that's why it doesn't have many reviews. I would suggest booking two single apt instead of the two bedroom apt because the pull out sofa is not that comfortable
Outstanding service and perfect location for your pilgrimage to the Holy Land. It's located across from the New Gate and a short 10 min walk to the Holy Sepulcher. The staff was wonderful and the restaurants offered a terrific menu as well as an amazing view of Jerusalem.
From a spiritual standpoint, we were able to attend mass everyday at the chapel and it was a perfect way to reflect on our day.
First -- when you get to what seems to be the right address, look for the green door and push inwards (ignore the handle that looks like you should pull it open). This is essentially a rooming house in the religious Geula neighborhood, with basic and very comfortable amenities and touches of artistic flair in all of the public rooms.
