"The staff were amazing -so glad they won their union rights in Dec! Very grateful for any time staff or guests spent time helping us with our Spanish. We experienced wonderful massages on Christmas Day and the food was fun! Always a good taco to be had. Loved the 1978 buildings architecture. Ixtapa shopping is conveniently right across the street."
"Always enjoy the Barcelo resorts. Very clean, friendly staff, good food. Lovely pools.
Friday night fiesta was wonderful! Felt the pride of Mexico!
Don't order a Mojito though, they use ground mint in simple syrup, feel like you are chewing a cow's cudd. "
"The property sits on a small cliff overlooking Madera Bay. The view and sunsets are stunning. The staff are very courteous and pleasant. Close to Zihua center and many restaurants and shops. I hope to return next year."
"This hotel has a lot of fun activities and the staff is very friendly. At checking I was not provided with the rollaway that my reservation included because of possible floor damage to the recently remodeled bedrooms’ floors. After talking to the staff and the manager the issue was resolved.
A good place to stay"
"This property is a gem! It’s on a very quiet beach with amazing food and service. Juan and Eddy particularly stood out as top notch servers. The rooms are huge, also quiet, very clean, and we will return! "
"Treated very well by all the staff at Krystal! Spent a full 2 weeks there and had a truly wonderful time! Kudo's to Rafael, Selene, (Both Concierges) and Jaime in the Buffet restaurant. everyday a smile and Spanish lessons with our coffee! Location is second to none by the way in Ixtapa. Right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!!
Steve and Colleen Lancaster"
"Daily breakfast was amazing. Be sure to book a stay that includes the chilaquiles. Daniela and Marcos were super attentive and helpful with our stay."
"The room, grounds and amenities were all clean and well maintained. The service and staff outside of the front desk were all amazing. We found the people working the front desk to be a little rude and unhelpful. Maybe this was because I do not speak fluent spanish."
"Beautiful hotel! Great location - minutes away from el centro and immediate beach access to Playa Madera. The pool area has been remodeled making it a great space to lounge around, and they have a fanstatic restaurant onsite with views of Zihua. Lastly, the staff is very friendly and welcoming."
"What a lovely hidden gem in the Playa de Ropa area! Each room was beautifully decorated, the staff was attentive and friendly. We had been staying in Ixtapa and needed an early check-in, the owner was prompt in his response and welcomed us upon arrival.
There is a great breakfast offered (with a charge) and the pool was lovely for an afternoon dip. Would definately stay again if we go back to Zihuatanejo."
"as usual, Catalina always provides a great service and safety. rooms clean, awesome staff, nice access to the beach, and yummy beverages. I enjoy having my steps in when going int"

Our stay here was relaxing. From the moment we checked in, the staff was professional, welcoming, and helpful, making sure to explain all the amenities and details clearly. 5min walk to the beach plus restaurants around the corner. I will definitely come again!
We spent a week at Hotel Casa de la Palma and were welcomed graciously by the manager, Jose. Jose gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The hotel is next to the market close to great restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to the waterfront. The hotel was very clean and secure. The resident cat, Misha, greeted us every time we returned from our day. We spent our days at the beach or doing activities and was nice to come back in the afternoon to cool off in the pool. ...
Lovely little hotel with charming and extremely hospitable staff. Very spacious room with a separate living area and two terraces! Close to good food, the beach, the main town and a block from fast and cheap laundry facilities. Highly recommended.
Looking for a great place close to the beach? This is it! In the heart of the city and a block away from the beach.
The staff is friendly and willing to help.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Casita emensely. The view overlooking Zihua Bay was spectacular. Morning breakfast was both varied and tasty. Very short walk to La Ropa beach. About one mile walk to center of town or taxis readily available. The staff was welcoming, always and helpful. There are 5 large bedrooms in this facility. After the four other occupants, that were there when we arrived left, we had the whole place to ourselves.would HIGHLY recommend this lodging.
This property was amazing we wanted to get away and relax and that’s exactly what we did. The restaurant was so good, all the staff were super accommodating and friendly. The only thing I would say is that it is far from anything and we weren’t really informed of any activities that were offered outside of the property
Couldn't get closer to the beach and still stay dry! Wonderful staff attending to any need you may have. Friendly place that we will definitely return- probably annually.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone it is a small hotel with a great location close to everything and it is clean and the pool is just the right size. My family and I have been looking to stay away from the All- inclusive resorts since for something decent and affordable and I think we found it at Gamma de Fiesta Inn we loved it.
Really loved this place and will return!! The beach is amazing ..... kind of a charcoal gray with gold specks all over! And soooooo clean ... and nice swimming right out in front of. The food was great, although you have to like to try new things. They had so many choices, you couldn't help but find something you liked. The staff always went out of their way to help you. It does help if you know at least a little Spanish, but if you try to use a little Spanish and tell them you are...
Room was small but comfortable, it works for a place to stay if you are more interested in getting out and exploring the area.
Ac worked, showers were hot, pool was nice and staff was more than friendly.
