"We had a great stay here! The staff was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is very handy and close to local spots. We would definitely stay here again."

"We are thinking of relocating to the Palm Bay area and needed 1 nite in Palm Bay. We used Expedia from our phone to see what was available. There was a deal online but upon asking the desk clerk for the same rate, she replied the hotel does NOT rate match. We showed her the rate on the phone but she refused. So we booked it on the phone and showed it to her. Then she got the reservation into her system and checked us in. A near $60 difference between 'rackrate' and booked rate is real money. Why did her (or the property owner) force us to do this? Other than that, everything else was fine. We'll stay there again on our next trip but will make sure we book online."

"I found the staff at the front desk to be personable and helpful from the the time of check in to the time of check out. Our room was clean, bed and pillows clean & comfortable. The room was stocked with towels and essentials, and coffee as well. The staff at the boatique,The Sandbar and the Black Fins Riverfront Grill were personable ,and provided great customer service. The food was also delicious and prepared well. Another part of our stay included a River Cruise with Captain Joe, and 1st mate Laura. Not only did we see Manatees, Dolphins, Blue Herons, Turtles and Alligators, but we were provided with the history of Indian River, it's inhabitants both human & animals from years gone by. We were provided with a rich history by Captain Joe & 1st Mate Laura which made this cruise both fun & enlightening. Captain Joe would stop when he saw the wildlife so we could take pictures. Many thanks to the staff and the whole experience my husband & I had for our 44th wedding Anniversary at Captain Hiram's. I highly recommend Captain Hiram's Resort. We will be back."

"Very nice hotel, the Wine and drink time is a nice treat. The pool area was a little messy and did not have many areas to lounge in chairs. The Valet worked very well and they were always courteous."
