"Great old hotel right downtown, and near the Durango Silverton train station. We stayed here because we like historic buildings and this one did not disappoint. It has modern conveniences, yet still allows you to step back in time."
"Location was perfect - to close everything we wanted to o experience.. Chandler at the front desk was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Durango."
"The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous. Durango wasn't on our original vacation plan, but due to Mesa Verde NP being closed from Govt shutdown, we decided to drive the Million Dollar Hwy. The Fairfield Inn and Suites Durango ended up being a great stay, that was very close to downtown shopping, restaurants and museums. We would stay here again, and recommend to anyone staying in the four corners, Mesa Verde, southern CO area. "
"We enjoyed staying at this property twice! Large room with fridge and really everything we needed! We stayed total of 5 days at beginning of trip and at the end!
We would never use Expedia again after they did some nefarious things trying to protect themselves from a 172 mistake ! Very dishearten by them! But Holiday Inn Dowtown Durango was perfect for us!"

Wonderful place to stay!! Just off Main Street where the shops and restaurants are located so you can leave your car in the private lot and walk everywhere. Very comfy king-size bed, great shower, and a full kitchen. We drove the San Juan skyway one day and drove to Mesa Verde another day. I would HIGHLY recommend them both. Durango is fabulous and this place is perfect!!
Great place for summer nights get away from ordinary for family and friends, great resort style huge oversize room with living room, patio, garden surrounding, spot wild rabbit and deer in and near the garden, remote feel from civilization, yet only 10 minutes drive to great local restaurants.
Booked hotel two nights, can only stay there for one night due to driving schedule change, hotel manager helped to accommodate us one night to their other property in Farmington, NM. That saved us one...
Was pleasantly pleased with the hotel. It had an efficiency kitchen with range, full size refrigerator, microwave and dishes. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of room. Climate control was excellent. I was surprised to see that there were no USB ports, to charge your electronic devices, so bring a 120V power converter.
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was friendly & helpful. Our room was clean & the bed was comfortable. We had a balcony suite that overlooked the Animas River; such a beautiful view! Great location & walkable trails along the river.
Great stay all around. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy and the cappuccino was delicious. The employees were very friendly and helpful. My dad enjoyed the casino although the casino was very stingy with their winnings on the slot machines. Roulette was a blast. We had a great time.
My entire family loved this hotel. The hotel is two hotels, the Rochester on on side of the street and the Leland House on the other. We had two rooms in the Rochester located near the breakfast room. The rooms in the Rochester are all furnished and decorated in the theme of a Western filmed in the area. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious (for the older style of the hotel). My three daughters and I loved the cookies, cocoa and tea available all afternoon and the breakfasts were...
We had a great stay at the historic Leland House. The place is a block from the main street making it central but quiet. It was very clean and easy to communicate with staff. We borrowed the bicycles for a scenic ride along the river. Highly recommend.
Its right by the river, downtown, quiet, and has a great pool and hot tub. You can walk to a grocery store that has a Starbucks. It's close to everything and has tons of parking.
The staff was very helpful, complimentary drinking water was absolutely nice, very new great place to stay. Close to downtown aka mainstreet. Underground parking is a huge plus when you’re on a motorcycle especially. $15 extra for that.
double queen room and bath were very large, has dressers and night stand, AC worked great, bedding was soft and comfortable, Grocery, restaurants, bars near by, walk to the fairgrounds. refrigerator worked great and large, several shelves. table and chair was nice to have. plenty of parking, property slopes down toward the creek from main street, there is flat parking available. staff was helpful.
We stayed here 2 nights and did the Durango-Silverton train dude. The place is beautiful with an outdoor hot tub, hammocks, ama just a beautiful balcony overlooking the property where you can have your breakfast. The gardens are beautiful and lots of birds singing and fluttering about the birds feeders. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was continental: Braga and muffins and such. Coffee was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and of were ever that way again we...
