"Amid hotel has always been our choice when we stay in Seoul. The hotel location is perfect, within walking distance to all popular spots like the bukchon hanok, Insadong shopping street and Ikseondong area. Myeongdong is also nearby, yet the hotel is in a more quiet spot opposite Jongno Police building. Getting from the airport is also convenient via airport limousine bus and it only takes a couple of minutes from the bus stop on Jong-ro near Jongno tower.

"From the check-in till my departure afyer 10 nights stay. everything was absolutely amazing. Property is very clean, room was very comfortable, had an amazing view of Namsan and the tower a the top. Daily housekeeping was great and always resupply of bottled water. Front desk was very friendly. also helped me booking a taxi at 4 am, make it super easy for me. Will definitely stay at N285 next time I visit Seoul. Location is fantastic, connecting you to any area, be it walking or subway ride....

"The location was outside the myendong area. The name is misleading. While it was about a 15-minute walk away, it's not directly in the area.
I wanted to stay for late checkout and the hotel charged 33,000 krw for 2 hours.
Some of the rooms have a dryer and washer Other rooms only have the washing machine. You may need to double check if you want both .
Furthermore, there are two buildings. My wife and I were separated between the two buildings which was annoying."

Very centrally located in Myeongdong, steps away from the major shopping area district. The hotel is only a few months old, but very clean and convenient. They have an industrial washer and dryer on every floor , which was great to use nightly. Next to that there’s a coffee machine with fresh grinds, we took advantage of that every morning. If traveling to Korea, experience a traditional guest house. Sophia Guest House was amazing, the owners living right there attentive to every need. Walk out the door to microbreweries, restaurants, locals, tourists, the palace, everything! The kids are still asking to return, to sleep on the heated floors, and enjoy the attention of the family.

The check-in process was seamless. The staff who checked me in was Mason. He spoke English very well. Initially, I checked in with two suitcases due to a continuing travel to a different country in a few days. Our stay at Solaria was great. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of Myeongdong. Airport limousine 6015 bus dropped us off and the walk to the hotel was only 5 minutes from the bus stop. We just as easily took the limousine bus back to the airport ( cash or tmoney card only). The Myeoungdong station was also just a 5min walk from the hotel.

The location of this property cannot be beat - easy access to public transport, lots of restaurants, and shopping. Staff was great and rooms were well maintained. Appreciated having 4 twin beds...this is the first time we've each had our own bed, great sleep for all of us!
