The Hotel Elms is a nice property in a convenient location. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and professional and welcoming. I always enjoy staying at this property and will do so again.
One of my favorite places I've ever stayed at. The owners are incredible and the love they have for the place shows. Wonderful rooms with kitchenette, little coffees and teas, and a free laundry! Cute little playground, washing line, bbq available, and the most gorgeous grounds complete with flowers. The owners helped with navigating nearby and answered any questions I had, especially not having a car. 10/10!
Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting.
A great place to stay in Christchurch. Conveniently located off the main road to the airport. Access to sights and activities is excellent.
Also easy to get to some great cafes,restaurants, and shopping areas. Staff are super nice and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Bill and Pat went above and beyond to make my stay excellent.
Rooms are quiet and comfy and have a full kitchenette.
Some also have spa tubs. Highly recommend the Airport Palms.
This is a beautiful property located across the street from the Botanical Garden and green space. We stayed in the suite which I would recommend. It is so so nice! The host and hostess were available on the premise for what ever we needed. There are several areas in the villa for relaxation. It is quite for sleeping and safe for walking at night within a few blocks of shopping and eating.
Clean room, excellent communication with the check in staff, great that there was laundry IN the room! The kitchen Im the room was perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay!
The room was great. The bathroom was great except there was no hair conditioner. The floor however did not appear to have been cleaned. The carpet had stuff on it (including someone’s old contact lens!) and the floor was sticky on parts. The kitchenette was stocked but we didn’t really need that since we ate out every meal. Overall good stay.
Golden hotel is the perfect stay once landing in Christchurch and before leaving again. Very clean and nice space. Staff is also responsive and kind with inquiries. There is a Vietnamese cafe right on the main lobby so very convenient for a quick pick me up. Overall, would stay here again so definitely recommend!
Very well appointed room, spacious. Loved the outdoor patio. Rooms have snacks and drinks available for a reasonable price which is a nice touch. It was a convenient location for us.
staff was phenomenal. went above and beyond. stayed for 9 days. found the place to be very clean. bedding was more than comfortable, with heated mattress pads too!!! had a 1 bedroom unit. individual heating system in each room, floors heated, towel rack heated. kitchen fully supplied, newly renovated kitchen and bathroom. nearby grocery, fish and chips, pharmacy - all within walking distance of a very nice, quiet neighborhood. easy bus service into city. The staff was helpful, the room was very nice & it was a good location. My only complaint: they advertised as having airport shuttle services & really it was just a phone number you had to book yourself (& it didn’t work out for us).
