2 Star Hotels in Surquillo

My stay at the Wari Hotel was one of the most pleasant and comfortable during my return visit to Lima, Peru. The staff were all extremely professional and this being my fourth visit to the Wari Hotel in the past 15 years made for a consistently welcomed experience.

Good place for rest

Front desk staff was super helpful and considerate. Room was a bit dated. Breakfast was great as the staff bring it directly to your room.

I check-in but had left that night. The location is good. Safe. Have a big yard. Free breakfast. The room is a bit dated, clean and has everything needed. Older caper. Front desk is friendly. Not fancy but basic. For the price, it’s fine.

I really enjoyed my stay here, so much that I stayed at the Flying Dog in Arequipa as well. The place is safe. You gets buzzed in and out. Right out side is Kennedy Park, across the park are many restaurants. The rooms come with a three option breakfast. Not really a big party going on in the hostel, so if you like to sleep, you will get it in the dorm. That was a plus for me. Each bunk had their own wall plug. They even had male or female dorms. They even have a laundry service.

No Air conditioning its just open your windows and ask for a fan and they have timers peru is not for comfort left lima in Cusco no heat its cold here peru is not for comfort

The people who work here are all so nice and so welcoming. I truly felt like a guest and not just like a customer. The room was large and very comfortable. I spent a week here for a work trip, and it was quiet enough that I could work comfortably, but also close enough to the main sites that I could easily take an uber when I wanted to take a break and see some of the city. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

Returned to stay six nights in February 2020 because of a very positive experience at the B&B in 2018. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. There's plenty of shopping and eats within a short walking distance. The best feature is Martin, the friendly proprietor. He always goes all the way to make your plans in Lima work without issues. Very highly recommend the B&B for one night or an extended stay.

We only stayed there for one night but Thebes owner of the house was nice and friendly. They accommodated us to our needs and had WiFi! The room and bathroom were clean. I would stay here again!
