"What a wonderful experience! The location is perfect for a “foodie”. Constant police presence and street cameras (one of the safest district). Rooms are serviced daily (new towels, soap, TP). Take advantage of their taxi transportation from airport to hostel or vice versa (18usd). Highly Recommended. My go to when traveling to Lima. 30 minute Taxi ride to Miraflores/Barranco (tourist destination).

"This is the fifth time I stayed at the Sonesta in San Isidro, A quieter location than Miraflores, this hotel is next to a park, safe area, walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants and shirt Uber drives to other excellent restaurants in Lima.

The people who work here are all so nice and so welcoming. I truly felt like a guest and not just like a customer. The room was large and very comfortable. I spent a week here for a work trip, and it was quiet enough that I could work comfortably, but also close enough to the main sites that I could easily take an uber when I wanted to take a break and see some of the city. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with lots of stores and restaurants nearby.
I travel regularly to Peru and usually always stay in the same couple of hotels. On this trip, I decided to branch out and try something new, and I'm so happy I did! El Golf Hotel Boutique was a wonderful surprise. The hotel staff were friendly, responsive, and very welcoming. The common areas of the hotel were lovely, clean and warm. Location, location, location!!! If you’re looking for action, crowds, and the tourist crunch, then this is NOT the place for you. Located in the upscale San Isidro neighborhood, you’re close enough, yet far enough away from the madness of Miraflores. Super safe neighborhood, great dining options close by, and upscale shopping. But, not snooty or pretentious. The hotel is safe, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good.

The price, location, and service was altogether a very good deal. I try to travel on a budget and have to balance cost and convenience with the best locations possible to stay at, and this hotel was perfect in that respect. Highly recommended!
