"The sea view was lovely as pictured, staff was attentive, room was spotless, and food and service was excellent. Lovely perfect to explore south Bombay. Would happily return on a future trip. "

"Hotel was ideally located to see the majority of Mumbai’s sites. Staff were very helpful and keen to assist us with finding the right room when we arrived. Area was very safe to walk around and we were only a very short walk to the Gateway to India. Hotel was clean and breakfast was good. "

"Great value in a perfect location! The Residency Fort Hotel is close to key sights like the Gateway of India, Colaba Causeway, and the museum, with Marine Drive just a quick cab away. Rooms are compact but comfortable, the breakfast buffet is tasty, and the staff go above and beyond—special thanks to Gopal and Rajesh for making my stay memorable. Ideal spot for solo travelers exploring Mumbai!"

"Felt it was a bit underwhelming. Read huge praises about breakfast. Just not sure whether it was for the same hotel. Just remember: when in Mumbai book a hotel near to where you need to be. Traffic kills. "

"Location is very good"

"Excellent hotel, by far one of the best in Mumbai. The property itself and services are top notch, but in addition, the staff were extremely polite, helpful, and accommodating. We stayed in order to attend their Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. Great choices and also live singers which created a jolly atmosphere. It is now our go-to hotel when in Mumbai."

The breakfast spread was large and multi cuisine. The rooftop lounge restaurant AER was stunning with incredible views. This was an oasis within the very noisy city of Mumbai. "

"The Sofitel is a luxurious oasis in hectic Mumbai. The rooms are large and well kept, the gym and sauna/steamroom a bliss. Staff is friendly and welcoming. All-in-all a lovely hotel."
