"Everything was excellent, can't really complain. Elevators were quite busy I suppose, but it was also Sakura season, busiest time of the year. I really enjoyed the location, in fact it was tucked just east of the major congestion areas, right next door to a massive arena (got to see Japan wrestling), and connected with a 2 minute walk to Ryogoku station - it was actually quite nice. Highly recommend if you want a spot where you can get anywhere quick, and also calm and tucked in a calm city...

"Great soundproofed room, very comfortable, though a bit small (but this is common in Tokyo). The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good given the price I paid. The area is great with lot of restaurants, shopping malls, department store. In particular the Seiyu department store has great precooked food and sushis. I actually had a few meals from Seiyu. The only downside is the carpet in my room was a bit smelly, but the odor went away once the housemaid did a room cleaning. "

"We have stayed here every time we have visited Tokyo. We love the location, breakfast buffet, and room amenities- pajamas, slippers, toiletries. The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well maintained. We upgraded to a larger corner room and found it spacious and modern. The beds were comfortable and the room was very quiet despite overlooking the train tracks. We love the all of the local shopping available and the Tokyo Skytree is one stop away on the subway!"

APA Hotel & Resort Ryogoku Ekimae Tower

"The hotel is in a great area with easy walking distance to the train station as well as many great dining options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but still quite comfortable. With it being such a large hotel, sometimes it would take long to get an elevator and/or they would be quite full. This just meant planning for more time when traveling up and down, but it did not adversely affect the stay. Overall it was a very pleasant stay."

"This was our second stay here, and once again it was an excellent experience. One of our favorite features of the hotel is the main-floor lounge, which always has complimentary refreshments and a wonderful assortment of pastries available throughout the day. As a bonus, they have a Balmuda toaster for warming the pastries, which is a small touch that makes them even more enjoyable. The hotel offers fantastic value for the price and is in a great location with easy access to Tokyo Skytree and the surrounding area. We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."

"Had a lovely stay at the Tobu Hotel with my spouse. The staff were helpful, and accomidating in getting us set up in our room. They also helped us arrange a taxi for one of our evenings activities. The hotel is conviently located near Kinschencho Station which makes public transit a breeze. There is also a Don Quixote nearby ehich makes last minute souvenir shopping super convenient! The hotel also has a nice lobby providing a classy feel and ambience. Room wise, we ordered the double room and found it had more than enough space which was nice after our muxh smaller room in Kyoto. We did not request a tower view, but still found the view to be quite nice, with the city spread out around us (we were also able to still see the tower). Our only real complaint is that the tub was a bit slick to stand in while showering, which made footing precarious. The bathroom was also had a low ceiling which was bothersome for my 5'7 husband. There were also not a lot of outlets and outlet placement was a bit inconvenient for charging devices. Otherwise it was fantastic and we would definitely stay again."
