"The hotel is located in a prime Chicago Gold Coast location. A few blocks from Gibsons and Rush street and 2 blocks off the lake for beautiful walks. The rooms, although a bit dated, the cleaning staff did an amazing job ensuring everything was very clean. Customer service, the bar, valet and front desk staff were very accommodating. This hotel has everything you need without the outrageous price tags of other Chicago hotels. I will be staying here again. Wonderful trip!"

"Clean hotel, great location on the Northwestern Campus. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar seemed to be having a drain issue or something, had a bit of a smell while inside. Outside was great though. Fire pit and comfy seating, gorgeous views. Breakfast was AMAZING! The yogurt bar was so good! There were many types of fresh cut fruit and berries. All cold, to temp., very clean, hot food was hot. I have an alpha gal allergy, and I was still able to eat a full breakfast of hard...

"Excellent hotel to stay in. Surrounded by so many things Chicago has to offer. Right across from the river. We were greeted nicely, was able to upgrade to a nicer room at a fair price. Check in was smooth. Room was very nice, well maintained hotel lobby, rooms hallways etc. had breakfast in the Land and Sea restaurant downstairs due to a rainy morning. Would definitely recommend staying at the London House for a stay in Chicago."

"I chose this hotel for its close proximity to the Chicago Marathon starting line, it couldn't have been a more perfect location. The hotel check was easy and the rooms were clean, comfortable for our needs. We were able to leave our luggage with the front desk upon check out on Marathon day as we were flying home after the race but had to check out the morning of the race. My only issue was the extremely high price for the weekend but that is my own fault for not booking earlier once deciding to enter the race, I assume the cost would have been much lower if I had booked more in advance but hindsight - 20-20 .A great weekend and a lovely hotel."

"I was only there for a few hours each night. The location is great. It’s close to a lot of cool Chicago spots near millennium park. The building could use some upkeep, but not bad for the price. Aesthetically unpleasant though, mostly outside since the location in general attracts homeless and rats after hours, nothing too unusual for a huge city."
