"We only had one night here, but it was great. What an amazing location! And the rooftop is just perfect (pool, bar, etc.). Room furnishings were a tiny bit worn on the edges, but easy to overlook. Bed was the most comfortable we slept on in Spain. Great experience overall - this will be our go-to in Chueca moving forward."
"1. The reservation site is not clear and/or helpful. I was under the impression that I had booked a room with a private bathroom, and this was not the case.
2. The photos on the site show only the "bright side of the moon...", be very careful on what you are really booking!
3. There is no clear information that this is a hostel NOT a hotel.
4. Upon arrival there is no indications that check in is on the first floor, very confusing.
5. The person at check in is impolite and not helpful at...
"Woohoo rooms chueca was a lovely place to stay in Madrid. Many, many food options near by that were all great. It was a few minutes walk to busses that will take you all over the city quickly. Look forward to staying again in the future! "
"The hotel is close to everything in the Chueca district. I was warmly welcomed with a choice beverage and also given tokens to be used at the bar. The building itself is historic and well decorated. The room was amazing, clean, neat and full stocked. I also had the breakfast in the restaurant which included a wide selection. I would most certainly stay again when I return to Madrid."
"Staff upon arrival were super polite and very efficient. We had a very spacious room with the most comfortable bed I've slept in! And it was HUGE!! The room was spotless and had everything we needed and more for our stay! The view, not great but we weren't in the room for that or in there long enough! The location is excellent, right in the centre and amongst all the shopping areas! Commutable to everywhere! Brilliant stay, would definitely stay again 100%!"
"Very nice and clean hostel located perfectly near Gran Via. Friendly personnel . Only negative thing is that when you have an open window during the night it gets a bit noisy from the street."
"Clean room, staff were friendly and attentive. Hotel well located for those passing through or exploring Madrid. Very well located for running in Parque Retiro.
My only gripe is that I could not open the hand soap in the little packets, would be better if the hand soap was in a dispenser "
"Nice, spacious and tidy room, convenient location, few blocks away from Chueca train station, Gran Vía and Mercado de San Antón. I didn’t find the kitchen as shown in the pictures, and the room was next to a terrace where other guests spent time so I had to keep the blinds closed for privacy. "
"As a first-time visitor to Madrid, all I was looking for was a room with a bed in a convenient location, and HNGI certainly provided that: great location just off Gran Via close to the B"

An amazing hotel in the ideal location in Madrid. Walking distance (less than 2 kilometers) to most attractions, great restaurants, bar and cafes around every corner. Staff was wonderful and friendly! Always eager to assist. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
We had an excellent stay at POSTCODE Chueca and would absolutely stay here again.
The apartment was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Traveling as a group of four adults, having three full bathrooms made a huge difference and made our stay so much more enjoyable.
One thing we really appreciated was the air conditioning. During the hot summer days in Madrid, it worked perfectly and kept the apartment cool and comfortable at all times.
We also loved the thoughtful welcome note and water...
HUGE apartment right in the center of Madrid. It was like staying in someone's really nice and really clean home. Fully equiped kitchen. Concerige who checked us in did not speak English but I was really enjoying how well he was able to communicate everything I never bothered to tell him I spoke Spanish. Metro stations were close by but we walked everywhere and saw everything. We did not bring a car but there seemed to be a parking garage about 50 yards away. Clean and safe area with lots of...
Very convenient location for walking to many shops and bars and restaurants. Even Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts one block away
Staff was young, spoke English and very helpful.
Loved our location with a small balcony overlooking the street. The windows and shutters did an amazing job blocking out street noise and lights.
Minor problems: not much overall good lighting. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the bedside lights--there was a switch on the bottom of the bed along with a switch...
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Brach Madrid, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most exceptional hotels I’ve ever experienced. Nestled right on the iconic Gran Vía, this hotel truly feels like a hidden jewel in the heart of Madrid.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure every need and request was met with a smile. The employees here are nothing short of fantastic — professional, friendly, and genuinely...
I can not say enough nice things about The Hotel Principal in Madrid.
The hotel is close to all the big attraction but on a side street for quite and ease. There is a wonderful rooftop bar and the rooms are clean and comfy, with great views and the Nespresso machine in every room is quite a bonus. But it is the staff that distinguish this new hotel. They were helpful, kind and attentive - I had lost my passport and they were so great about helping me navigate the process. I liked it so much...
Everything went pretty much perfect for our stay. Great property, location, and staff. Only issue I have with the property is that you are forced to order drinks at the pool. Seems a bit greedy to me. I’ve never run into this before.
The location was excellent in the heart of the city. The only issue we had was the air cond/heater. It didnt work; however, when we called, they came went into the roof in the room and the heat came on. Everything else was excellent.
Location, location, location. Just few steps to Gran Via and Plaza del Sol. Nice, modern rooms. 5 stars for cleanliness. Quiet even on the middle of action. Only complaint, my room have parque floors that need repair. A little bit noisy. Overall, wonderful experience. Surely to return!
The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern/updated.
The area was convenient and near breakfast and dining places as well as pharmacy and supermarkets very close by.
Slow SuitesAugusto is ideally located in a neighborhood that has superb cafes, restaurants and shopping. With a full kitchen one is near San Antone Mercado which sells amazing food products allowing one to eat at home a la Spanish style. Everything Madrid is within walking distance. One excellent place to stay!
MUY BUENA LA HABITACION. TENÍA TODOS LOS SERVICIOS. Y ESTÁ A 20 METROS DE LA GRAN VIA. EXCELENTE UBICACIÓN PARA LOS QUE QUIEREN ESTAR EN EL CORAZON DE MADRID. LO SUPER RECOMIENDO
