"Clean upmarket hotel in close proximity to eateries. Comfy room with all the basic amenities we needed. Staff very helpful. Parking situation not made clear at time of booking. Very limited parking close to hotel and $20 fee per night to park in hotel basement. Tight vehicle entry and exit from the basement. Overall very good."

"We had the best night staying at the Esplanade. The room was spacious and the beds super comfy. A pleasant surprise to receive a bottle of sparkling for my birthday in the room on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were very accommodating and polite. The night at the bar was super busy due to Dockers playing in the second semifinal, the staff worked very efficiently and politely trying to serve everyone. All areas of the hotel appeared clean. Lovely stay, would come back."
