The only things that we had an issue with was the room number was not on my itinerary so I had to call customer service to receive that info and also the supply room where you can self serve yourself to any items you wanted to buy the Cody they gave me was wrong and I couldn’t access, but other then those two things I will book again! Highly recommended."
"The place was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The view was amazing. The only issue we had was when we asked where it was. We were told Nellysford and didn’t really understand that it was part of the Wintergreen resort so it was much further away from our actual destination. But the place was really amazing. "This is a no-frills, unexciting but inexpensive place…not a choice if you’re looking to stay for a honeymoon or anniversary. Our room and bathroom were clean, the beds comfortable, the TV had multiple channels and it was conveniently near several family restaurants. It was near I-64 but not so close that we heard any noise from there. We were hiking in Shenandoah National Park which was nearby…we did not explore any other part of Waynesboro. It was a low cost value, great choice for us to shower...

This was just an overnight stop on our way home but we enjoyed the hotel. It was recently renovated and was very nice, very clean. I like the laminate flooring in the room. (Hotel carpet can be questionable) We would stay there again.
We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. They have done a spectacular job of restoring and decorating. All appointments and furnishings are upscale and first class. Everything is very modern and new. The location is in the middle of downtown and sits atop a very popular Bistro. The parking lot behind them hosts a farmers market every Saturday.

It's not really the owner's fault at all but the place is built on a rather treacherous bit of mountainside in the Shenandoah. The website doesn't really give much warning about this and there isn't any sort of guardrails. There is a hell of a 'pucker factor' getting to and from the location as it's just one lane. But once you get there- My GOSH! So beautiful-- so inviting.. and so, so so sooo cozy! Makes it all worthwhile!! As I said before, unless a millionaire wants to donate $$$$$$...
