"An exceptional hotel - spotless, very comfortable, friendly, amazing breakfast and access to tea and coffee all day in the lovely breakfast room (with a view), plus walking distance to everything as it’s right in the old town - perfect."
"One of the most wonderful boutique hotels we’ve stayed in! Wonderful hospitality, lovely rooms, incredible location and a much better alternative to staying in Amsterdam. Heel Gezellig!!! Jort and Louisa were the exceptional hosts! Kristin and Eve"
"The last night of our trip, it was exactly what we needed. Lovely dining room and service. Excellent room accommodation with king size bed and a jetted tub. Shuttle to the airport was on time and very convenient."
"The room was great! The staff was very helpful and I loved the atmosphere. The food at the buffet was incredible and great for the price. Loved the drinks at the bar too, they had some great selections. I definitely plan on coming back next year, this was the best hotel i’ve stayed in so far."
"Nice and easy to get to from schipol. A lively hotel but room was quiet and comfortable. A good place, no time for using the facilities though which was a shame."
"This was a great option for staying near the airport. The shuttles run frequently, making it very convenient and easy to get to and from the airport. I would definitely stay here again."
"Very accomodating. Booked an extra night but couldn't keep the same room. They expedited the cleaning of our new room within 30 mins of checkout time. Great service.
Thank you."
"Knowing that we were with kids they had set up kids bed with colorful cartoony blankets with a small kids tent for them on the side. They had a blast. Room was generous and the ambiance was quite nice. In general one of our best experiences."

This Hotel is amazing! Historic and placed in the heart of Haarlem!
The restorations that have been done with careful consideration.
The staff is very attentive and so sweet!
It was perfect in every way! Well, except we didn't stay long enough. So clean, airy, friendly and easy. Anne Marie & Henk are so helpful from the moment you step inside. Haarlem is beautiful & clean & safe.
We rented the hotel bikes and rode to the sea- through the natural Forrest. We saw wild horses, cattle, sheep, birds... And the sea was lovely! Highly recommend seeing the area on their bikes!
We look forward to returning!
The staff is wonderful!!! We had a number of questions and needed a taxi. They helped us out with a local taxi service that was good, safe, and more affordable than random taxis. We had some issues with an injury and they supplied us with ice on many occasions, as well as helped to find stores to get an ACE wrap at. Romy in the bar was especially helpful and kind for the ice and assistance in ordering and delivering drinks and a meal to the room. All of the front desk staff went out of...
We loved the location, and the bed situation was perfect for our family of 5–one queen, a bunk bed, and a single. The shower wall didn’t keep the water contained to the shower, and the bathroom floor was usually wet. We could hear some conversations from the street below at night, but mostly we were so tired it didn’t matter. The room was pretty clean, but when I was looking for something I had dropped, I saw lots of dust under the beds. We loved Haarlem and would stay there again!
Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.
The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.
Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies, flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.
All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Room was quiet for outside noise, but some mechanical noises but not awful. Room service was good and Janz was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Area around hotel was great boutique shopping. Would...
I will only stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The location is ideal - quieter street but walkable to everything. The amenities are everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The staff is out of this world - energetic, professional and helpful.
Great hotel with person service. Location is central to everything so you can easily walk the entire area. Quiet and very comfortable. Large rooms for a European hotel. Attentive staff.
The hotel is walkable to a number of the places we were visiting. I liked that it wasn’t in the city center but only 10 minutes from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.
The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had a beautiful canal view. Walking distance to restaurants, museums. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.
